Enabling Discovery for your app makes it available in the App Directory and App Launcher for users to search for and install.

Step 1: Verify your app

To enable Discovery, the team owner must complete identity and application verification. App verification also unlocks monetization features such as in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Open the Developer Portal

Visit the Developer Portal and select your app.

Open App Verification

Select App Verification from the left-hand menu to see the verification requirements.

Complete the verification criteria

Complete all listed qualification criteria for your app.

Submit for verification

Once requirements are met, submit your app for verification.

Step 2: Opt into discovery

After verifying your app, opt into Discovery in the Developer Portal.

Open the Developer Portal

Visit the Developer Portal and select your app.

Open Discovery Status

Select Discovery → Discovery Status from the left-hand menu to see the requirements for enabling discovery.

Complete the discovery criteria

Complete all listed Discovery qualification criteria for your app.

Add app metadata and images

Under Discovery → Discovery Settings, customize your app’s name, description, images, and other details that appear in discovery surfaces.

Enable discovery

Once all requirements are met, enable Discovery for your app.
After enabling Discovery, it may take up to 24 hours for your app to appear in the App Directory and App Launcher.

Check that your app is discoverable

  1. Go to the App Directory and search for your app by name.
  2. If it appears, your app is live in discovery.
  3. If it doesn’t appear, confirm you’ve completed all steps above and wait up to 24 hours.
